Terms of Use

Welcome to POLARITY — a live, interactive game-show experience made for entertainment. By using POLARITY (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who can use POLARITY

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission. You can watch live shows without an account; you need an account to play.

2. Your account

• You sign in with Google. We never see or store your Google password.
• You choose a public username. It must not impersonate another person or POLARITY staff, and must not contain hateful, obscene, or harassing language. We may reclaim, mask, or reset usernames that break these rules.
• You're responsible for activity under your account. Please keep it to one account per person.

3. Playing fair

When you join a game, you agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, script inputs, or tamper with game state — buzzers, votes, wagers, or answers.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse hosts, staff, or other players.
• Submit content — usernames, survey answers, or drawings — that is hateful, obscene, illegal, infringing, or impersonates someone else.
• Attempt to access other users' private data or disrupt the Service.

We may remove content, end your session, or suspend or terminate your account for violations, at our discretion.

4. Content you submit

You keep ownership of what you submit (your username, survey answers, and drawings). By submitting it, you grant POLARITY a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and use it to operate and promote the Service — for example, showing your drawing on the live board or your name on the leaderboard. You confirm you have the right to submit it. We may moderate or remove content at any time.

5. Games, scores & prizes

POLARITY is for fun. Scores, rankings, in-game "money," and prizes are for entertainment only and have no cash value unless a specific promotion says otherwise in writing. Our game formats are original works inspired by the genre. POLARITY is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any televised game show or its owners.

6. Hosts & staff

Some features are run by POLARITY staff — hosts, managers, and admins — who schedule shows, write questions, and score games. Their scoring and judging decisions during a live game are final.

7. Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Live shows depend on scheduling and connectivity. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and POLARITY and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, note it in the app. Continued use means you accept the changes.
